Perimove
Privacy policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
Who we are
Perimove is a symptom tracking and strength training app for women in perimenopause. It is operated by GH Innovations Pty Ltd (ABN 12 694 697 259) trading as Perimove, Thrumster, New South Wales, Australia ("we", "us").
Your check-ins are health information, one of the most sensitive kinds of personal information. This policy explains what we collect, why, who sees it, where it is stored and how to get a copy or delete it. We handle your information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
Privacy contact: Steve Shaw, GH Innovations Pty Ltd, steve@ghinnovations.com.au.
Perimove is not a medical service
Perimove helps you record how you feel and prepare for conversations with your doctor. It does not diagnose any condition, predict your health or recommend treatment. Nobody at Perimove reviews your records for medical purposes, and we do not share them with your GP. You decide whether to show your report to anyone.
What we collect
We collect only what you enter into Perimove, what is needed to run your account, and what our payment provider gives us when you subscribe.

Your health information and consent
We only store your check-ins, GP visit notes and quiz answers because you agree to it. You give that consent when you tick the health consent box at sign-up, and we record the date you did.
Your health information is used only to run Perimove for you. You can withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account, which removes your health records straight away (see "Deleting your account" below). Perimove can't track symptoms without storing them, so withdrawing consent ends your use of the app.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- show your symptom patterns and build your GP report
- adapt your training sessions to how you feel that day
- send the check-in and follow-up reminders you switch on
- run your subscription, including your free trial, receipts and renewals
- send account emails you need, such as password reset codes
- keep Perimove secure, fix problems and improve it, using feedback and overall totals rather than individual symptom records
We never:
- sell your information
- use your health information for advertising or marketing
- share your information with employers, insurers, marketers or data brokers
- use your records to train AI models
We don't send marketing emails. If we ever want to, we'll ask first and every email will include an unsubscribe link.
Who can see it
Other Perimove users can never see your records. Inside GH Innovations, access is limited to the person who maintains the app, and only when needed to fix a problem or act on your request.
We use these service providers to run Perimove. Each gets only what its job needs and may use it only to provide that service.
- Floot
- What they do: Hosts the app and sends account emails
- What they receive: Everything stored in Perimove, your email address
- Neon
- What they do: Runs the database, on behalf of Floot
- What they receive: Everything stored in Perimove
- Stripe
- What they do: Processes subscription payments and screens for fraud
- What they receive: Name, email, card and billing details, device and IP data at checkout
- Apple, Google and your browser's push service
- What they do: Deliver reminder notifications
- What they receive: A device token and the reminder text. Reminders never include your symptoms
- YouTube (Google)
- What they do: Plays exercise demonstration videos
- What they receive: Device and usage data, only when you press Watch on a video
We will also disclose information if the law requires it, for example a court order, or to prevent a serious threat to someone's life, health or safety.
Where your information is stored
Your information is stored and processed outside Australia, mainly in the United States, where Floot, Neon, Stripe and Google run their services. Stripe may also process payment data in Australia.
We choose providers with strong security practices who are contractually required to protect your information and use it only to provide their service. We remain responsible for how your information is handled under Australian privacy law. If we move your data to a different country, we'll update this policy and tell you first.
Payments
When you subscribe to Perimove Plus, you pay on a secure Stripe checkout page. Stripe collects your card and billing details directly and handles them under its own privacy policy. We never see or store your full card number.
Stripe tells us your plan, subscription status and renewal date so we can switch Plus features on or off. Your health information is never sent to Stripe. You can update your card or cancel any time from the Plus tab → Manage or cancel subscription.
Automated decisions
Perimove uses computer programs, not people, for a few things. None of them diagnose you or decide your medical care.
- Choosing your training session
- Information used: That day's sleep and energy check-in
- Effect on you: Changes the session suggested to you
- Your quiz result
- Information used: Your age range and quiz answers
- Effect on you: Shows how many answers match common perimenopause patterns, as something to discuss with your GP
- Your GP report and insights
- Information used: Your check-ins and GP visit dates
- Effect on you: Calculates averages and how often symptoms occurred
- Payment fraud screening (by Stripe)
- Information used: Card, email, IP address and device data at checkout
- Effect on you: Stripe may automatically decline a payment it judges likely to be fraudulent
If a payment is declined or you think an automated result is wrong, email us and a person will look at it.
Cookies and tracking
Perimove uses one cookie, to keep you signed in. We don't use analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels in the app.
Stripe's checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments and prevent fraud. YouTube may set cookies when you play an exercise video.
How we protect it
- All connections to Perimove are encrypted (HTTPS).
- Passwords are hashed, never stored in readable form.
- Every request checks who is signed in and returns only that person's data.
- Repeated failed sign-ins are limited to block attempts to break into accounts.
- Database access is limited to the person who maintains the app.
No online service can promise perfect security. If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as soon as practicable, as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires, and explain what you can do to protect yourself.
How long we keep it, and deleting your account
We keep your information until you delete your account. To delete it, go to Settings → Delete my account and data and type DELETE to confirm.
This permanently and immediately removes your account, check-ins, GP visits, training history, quiz answers, reminders and sign-in records. Any active subscription is cancelled at the same time. It can't be undone.
A few things are kept after deletion:
- Feedback you sent us, with your name and account removed.
- Billing records (amounts, dates and your Stripe customer record). Stripe keeps these under its own policy, and Australian tax law requires us to keep transaction records for five years. They never include your health information.
- Copies in our hosting provider's backups, which are overwritten within a short period.
Your choices and rights
- Get a copy: email us and we'll send you the information we hold about you, free of charge, within 30 days. You can also download your GP report from the app at any time.
- Correct it: update today's check-in in the app, or email us to correct anything else.
- Reminders: switch them off any time in Settings.
- Delete it: see above.
We may need to confirm it's you before acting on a request. If we can't do what you ask, we'll explain why in writing.
Age
Perimove is designed for adults and isn't intended for anyone under 18. If we learn that someone under 18 has created an account, we'll delete it.
Questions and complaints
Email steve@ghinnovations.com.au. We'll acknowledge your message within 7 days and respond in full within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we'll tell you in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
